Our STORY
Our STORY
Hi, I’m Crystal! 👋🏾
After discovering that I had an undiagnosed hormonal imbalance for years that wreaked havoc on my sense of wellbeing, causing dry hair and dry skin on my body as well as vaginal dryness, I embarked on an intimate self-care journey. As I began looking for solutions, I was unable to find a brand that resonated with me, as most felt matronly, sterile, and didn’t reflect my youthful femininity.
Driven by a passion to challenge the idea that vaginal self-care products have to be sterile, hidden away and non-descript, Sugarbush was born.

Our BRAND
Our BRAND
Fun Fact: Our brand name was derived from the Sugarbush Protea flower, which was the unofficial national flower of South Africa for 200 years. Due to its natural adaption to survive in the harsh climate of South Africa, in the South African culture, the Protea flower is seen as a symbol of resilience, representing its people’s ability to thrive and withstand challenge.
Just as the Sugarbush Protea is resilient, so are women. From our hearts to yours, we aspire to encourage you to honor yourself, through intentional self-care.
